Our Boats

Our group proudly boast a number of boats that that we own and run which allow the whole  group to get on the water and learn basic seameanship and sailing skills.

  • Fusion's Sailboats

    The group owns 6 Fusion Sailboats which are the main training boat for single and double handed dingy sailing and gives the scouts and explorers a chance to take charge of a boat and learn to sail.

  • Scout Safety

    Scout Safety is a 6m Solent Rib Built for the group in 2008 funded trhough grants and fundraising done by the group, this boat is the main stay of the group and is used as out main safety boat when out on the water capable of carrying 10 people or acting as a safetty boat for upto 6 dingies. we also use this boat to give scouts of all ages an experince and Training in the skill driving of driving a RIB (Rigid Inflatable Boat).

  • W L Wyllie - Drascombe Gig

    The Drascombe is the largest boat in out fleet at 25feet long it provides us with a stable platform to perform sail training this boat also serves a good introduction to the younger cubs into sailing as it is large and stable platform from which to teach.

  • Road Runner - Sea Rider 4m

    This is our second RIB which is used as a secondary safety boat and also also used for power boat training as a more mamovarable and easier to handle boat.
